This series contains materials primarily related to the history of Sotterley Plantation ("Sotterley") and consists of architectural materials; a booklet; correspondence; deeds; land surveys; and newspaper clippings. The bulk of the material is dated from circa 1878 to 1927.
One significant individual in this series includes Chas. A. Howard, a county surveyor who created numerous land surveys of Sotterley and neighboring areas.
