Immediate Source of Acquisition
2019 April: Materials borrowed from Pat and Nell Elder and color photocopied. Nell Elder had lived in the Rosecroft cottage when she was 20 (this cottage no longer exists), while Pat lived in the manor house when he was a young adult. Pat and Nell Elder currently live near Rosecroft Manor in St. Mary's City. George Tyding, former resident of Rosecroft, gave some of the materials to Nell Elder. Former Rosecroft resident Eleanor Katherine Quirk graduated from St. Mary's Female Seminary in 1934 (HS) and married Richard S. Abbey (she lived to be over 100 years old).
