This series contains six photograph albums and one etching. The photographs contained in each album describe or portray Sotterley's architectural and landscape features; different people associated with Sotterley (e.g. Mabel Satterlee Ingalls or Agnes Kane Callum); and events that occurred at Sotterley, such as when more than one hundred descendants of Hilary Kane -- a former enslaved person of Sotterley who continued to live at Sotterley after being freed -- visited the plantation in 1978.
